The sound of this drum really is incredible. The bass tone is powerful and punchy, with no need for extra kick ports to enhance the bass. It fills the room in a controlled and rounded way. You can achieve two main snare hits on the CaSela, one is full and has a great depth, the other gives you a nice pop on the high end. The playing surface is very high quality, sturdy, and allows you to achieve many other tones when using your foot to change the pitch. The materials used for the components are of very high quality. The side, top and bottom panles are made from high-grade birch and the rounded corners are made from, high-grade maple. The engineering that has gone into this product is second to none making it very easy for the user to put their cajon together in less than one hour.

Tineo so good

This cajon is well worth the money. It should be at least in the $400 range but with a bit of putting it together yourself. You have a really pro drum. I am very glad I went with Sela.
Love the CaSela

Got this cajon a week ago and I love it. Fast and easy assembly and I had a good time doing it.
I decided to get the Tineo as it was a simpler design. Whats cool is that you can easily take off the front and replace it with a new one.
Well done for making such an affordable pro cajon.

I have wanted to get a cajon for ages and have done a fair bit of shopping around. I looked at Meinl, Gon Bops, & others but when I found the Sela cajons I found the sound to be amazing. They really sound like professional drums and fo the price, well worth the money.
I think they are able to charge less because you put it together your self. Kind of like Ikea but way better.
I love taking this to rehearsals, jam sessions, and shows. People are always amazed by its sound. What a cool drum!
